I have used many anti virus softwares like norton,kaspersky,avg etc
but the stand out performer is avast antivirus
first of all the home edition if free
you just have to register and they will send a key code to ur email
it is supported both on xp as well as vista
it has a command line scanner which has the ability to remove viruses even if a virus is already present on the system
norton is the same but it is helpless once you install it on a system which is already infected with an antivirus ,it also slows down ur system
so to be honest either buy kaspersky or get avast
for home users i would recommend avast home edition which is the free one as i have been using avast for many years without any problem |
